We are searching for a talented Instructional Designer-EPIC
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day shift with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday) as needed; 7:00am - 3:30pm and 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location: DHS Applied Care Technology – New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Epic Manager or designee, carry out various duties in support of business systems and end users including but not limited to: perform analysis of workflow; assessment of system needs and requirements; plan, design, and test systems and interfaces; coordinate work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel; train end-users as needed; document and troubleshoot work involved in systems implementation and maintenance; and act as liaison to all end users. On-call rotation required.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
- Must obtain Epic certification.
- Experience supporting Meditech and/or other healthcare information systems required.
- Technical/programming experience preferred.
- PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency required.
- Five (5) years MIS and/or business related experience, including tow (2) years in similar and related position required.
- Must obtain Epic Cadence certification within 1 year.
- CPHMIS Certification is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
- Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range: USD $76,897.60 - USD $129,604.80 /Yr. Rotation Schedule Requirement : On call rotation as needed.
