About the role: Instructional Designer II
The Instructional Designer II is a remote role that assists in managing the day-to-day functions and strategic initiatives of the Education and Training department. This role designs, develops, and delivers technical and non-technical training programs in instructor-led, e-learning, and blended formats to meet member, client, and organizational needs.
You Will!
- Design, develop, and implement instructor-led, e-learning, and blended training programs.
- Create online and classroom curricula aligned with learning objectives, quality standards, and budgets.
- Lead curriculum development projects involving multiple contributors.
- Develop instructional materials such as presentations, workbooks, guides, job aids, and multimedia content.
- Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) for course development, delivery, and support.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal teams, and external partners.
- Assist with continuous improvement of training products and internal processes.
- Prepare professional written reports and maintain organizational standards of behavior and performance.
What Makes a Strong Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience designing instruction for instructor-led and/or e-learning programs.
- Experience applying instructional design principles (ADDIE or similar).
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Snagit, etc.) and multimedia content development.
- Familiarity with LMS administration, SCORM, TinCan, and online learning best practices.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to think strategically and align learning solutions with client and organizational needs.
The salary for this role is - $68,800-$82,100
