The University of Florida is hiring an Instructional Designer II. This role involves collaborating with various units across the university and the Training and Organizational Development team to design and develop effective learning materials and system support documentation for faculty and staff.
Highlights
Create innovative and ADA-compliant instructional materials using tools such as Articulate Storyline & RISE, Captivate, Adobe Suites, Zoom, and MS Teams.
Conduct needs analysis to select appropriate learning modalities and evaluate training effectiveness.
Manage multiple projects including online/in-person courses, instructional guides, microlearnings, and infographics.
Facilitate training sessions and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop content.
Master’s degree with two years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with four years; submission of a digital portfolio is mandatory.
Expected salary range is $61,000 - $70,000.
Support Faculty and Staff development through the Training and Organizational Development team.
Work involves strong written, verbal, organizational, and project management skills.
