We are seeking an advanced Instructional Designer & Facilitator to lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and cutting-edge learning technologies. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging, learner-centred content while also excelling as a dynamic facilitator who can effectively deliver training in various formats (in-person, virtual, and hybrid). This individual will partner cross-functionally with the People Leadership team, People Business Partners, and subject matter experts from various departments.
What you'll do:
- Applies instructional design methodologies and analytics to create personalized learning experiences that meet target audience needs and achieve business results.
- Creates/modifies training solutions, including digital, video, paper-based, on-the-job, and classroom training.
- Work cross-functionally with department leaders, subject matter experts and People Ops team members to facilitate needs analysis, identify business objectives and understand the target audience.
- Aligns cross-functional project teams and resources to meet project and business goals.
- Leads exploration and implementation of emerging technologies and trends, including digital, blended, and informal learning, to foster innovation and efficiency
- Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Consults on the design/use of platforms that learners and leaders will use to access learning solutions and experiences.
- Co-facilitate company-wide learning and development solutions.
- Participates in/facilitates internal skill-building.
- Develop project plans; defines timelines to ensure delivery of changes is met within time frames and budget; manages projects; consults; manages resources; facilitates change.
- Utilize e-learning authoring tools to create and maintain courses for Favor’s LMS.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in instructional design, learning experience design (LXD), and facilitation techniques.
- Support the Talent + Experience team with the Performance Assessment and Team Member Engagement cycle.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Skills you have:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional technology, education, or a related field (master’s preferred) or comparable experience.
- 5+ years of experience in curriculum and course design.
- Experience supervising the development of tech / non-tech manuals, online learning products, and training programs.
- Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing instructional design methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of L&D practices and employee engagement strategies.
- Experience with supporting Performance Assessment and Engagement cycles.
- Working experience in project and program management.
- Experience leading projects in a team environment.

This role requires on-site presence as needed for events, training sessions, and planning meetings.
