This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Instructional Systems Designer/Curriculum Developer in Georgia (USA).
This role provides the opportunity to design and develop high-impact learning solutions for federal law enforcement training programs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, and instructional design teams to create engaging instructor-led, web-based, and performance support training. Your work will ensure that training is accurate, accessible, and aligned with accreditation requirements, supporting the growth and effectiveness of learners. The position combines creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail in a structured and mission-critical environment. Ideal candidates are highly organized, collaborative, and thrive in dynamic, compliance-driven contexts.
  • Accountabilities:
  • Develop and document instructor-led, paper-based, and technology-delivered curricula and performance support materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructors to design lesson plans, student guides, quizzes, and scenario-based learning activities.
  • Participate in visual design, prototyping, usability testing, and evaluation of training solutions.
  • Review course content for style, clarity, and effective flow, ensuring alignment with federal law enforcement standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain and update course materials, ensuring accuracy and currency across instructor-led and web-based training programs.
  • Support evidence gathering and documentation to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DHS Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of instructional design or curriculum development experience, preferably in federal law enforcement or government training environments.
  • Familiarity with accredited training program requirements and federal law enforcement training standards.
  • Experience developing instructor-led and web-based training solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, web-based training tools, and simulation platforms.
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
  • Preferred: Experience designing federal law enforcement courses and working on FLETA or other accredited programs.
