Job Purpose
Expert in providing valued customer quality product training on all new and existing Aventiv platforms.
Essential Duties
Customer Training Duties:
- Develops and Implements product training courses on all Securus platforms via Instructor-Led webinars, onsite training courses, technical training labs, workshops and tutorials relevant to the customer’s application.
- Ability to build credibility and rapport with Law Enforcement, Correctional Officers, Investigators, District Attorneys, Prosecutors in an effective classroom environment.
- Actively consults with each client to identify specific training needs, requirements, procedures, usage strategies, training plans, and potential procedural changes for the client in order to utilize the Securus Products to the full potential of the products available to meet the customer’s needs and resource availability.
- Provides Ongoing/Refresher training as required to Securus customers and Securus personnel.
- This highly skilled individual is able to think on their feet to assist the customer’s understanding and functionality benefits of Securus’ products and provide workable solutions to perceived issues.
- Provides consultative assistance to the client and Project Teams on best practices and usability of Securus’ Products.
- Creates training materials and documentation, including job aids, Power Point presentations, checklists, and any other relevant adjunct materials as new features or product materials are initiated.
- Makes revisions to current training documentation as new processes and feature enhancements are made to Securus’ products.
- Ability to multi-task and manage several training sessions, both on-site and webinars, while under aggressive development timelines.
- Keeps updated on product enhancements and works to test and implement into trainings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to facilitate classes in a method that allows for an optimal learning environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft PPT, Excel, and Word
- Up to 75% travel to agency sites
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Law Enforcement, Corrections, or investigations experience
- 5+ years of technical training experience including both on-site and webinar
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in Law Enforcement Training
- Instructional Design experience
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and a variety of office equipment. Occasionally may need to reach, stoop or kneel. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
Salary and Benefits:

- $68,337 - $77,904 per year (depending on experience)
