Overview: 
Princeton University Investment Company (“Princo”)

We manage Princeton University’s $36 billion Endowment through a global network of top-tier investment firms that span both traditional and alternative asset classes such as public equities, private equity and venture capital, hedge funds and real estate.

Responsibilities: 
Investment Technology Cloud Solutions Analyst
 
The Analyst will report to the Director of Investment Technology and work closely with the investment and operations teams. The Analyst will document business requirements and recommend cloud solutions to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The Analyst will also assist with tracking and reporting technology project status within the department.
 
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, monitoring, and administration of PRINCO’s cloud infrastructure and services. This will include the development and maintenance of system reports, dashboards, data integrations, cloud platforms, and process improvements, The candidate will promote a secure computing environment and assist with the training of staff. As a member of a small technical team, the Investment Technology Cloud Solutions Analyst will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of software and systems.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Cloud infrastructure and Resource Management 
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (primarily Azure) to support PRINCO’s investment and operational systems.
  • Configure and manage Azure resources such as Storage Accounts, Networking, and Identity services.
  • Monitor cloud performance, reliability, cost optimization, and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure scalable and resilient cloud solutions.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics, including workspace configuration, capacity management, and integrations with SaaS applications such as Solovis and Bipsync
Serverless and Workflow Automation 
  • Develop and manage serverless workflows using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and related services.
  • Support secure deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes for internal applications.
Data Analytics and Reporting 
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Documentation and Business Analysis 
  • Document architecture designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Track and report on technology project status and assist in workflow documentation.
Quality Assurance and Testing 
  • Participate in QA testing and validation of system enhancements and data integrations.
Technical Support 
  • Serve as a backup for technical support. This includes monitoring, diagnosing, repairing and troubleshooting technology issues across all modes of use.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including serverless architecture and automation tools.
  • Exposure to SQL, REST APIs, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated programming knowledge either in business or educational environment (Python and C# experience a plus)
  • A passion for technology and an interest in investing, or financial industry
  • The Investment Technology Cloud Solutions Analyst position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build good working relationships with people of diverse personalities and professional backgrounds with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Aptitude for assisting users with varying degrees of technical skills is essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other OIT staff to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills and an ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines are essential.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small technical team.
