Job Summary  | The Gatton College of Business and Economics is hiring an AI Integration and Technology Specialist to accelerate the ethical, effective, and innovative adoption of AI technologies across the college. This role is central to advancing Gatton’s AI strategy by supporting faculty and staff, collaborating with students when appropriate, providing technical guidance, delivering training, and supporting implementation. As the college’s first dedicated AI support professional, you will help shape a future where AI is thoughtfully integrated into teaching, research, and operations, enhancing student learning and preparing graduates to thrive in an AI-driven economy.

Internal Employee Being Considered
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities  | Experience in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Education, Business, or Data Science). Demonstrated experience with generative AI tools and platforms. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to explain complex technologies clearly to non-technical audiences. Experience designing and delivering training or instructional materials. Familiarity with issues of AI ethics, data privacy, and academic integrity.

Preferred Education/Experience  | Advanced training in AI, instructional design, or educational technology. Experience in higher education or instructional support.
