Job Summary  | The IT Business Analyst is responsible for defining needs and opportunities and recommends solutions that deliver value to the Organization. Collaborates with business and technical teams to define and document product and project requirements. Translates high level business requirements into functional and technical specifications and manages changes to such specifications. Develops and manages the project test plan based on project requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  | Analyze problems and opportunities effectively and identify recommended changes that deliver the most value. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the impact of those changes and create business case. Facilitate team collaboration with business and technical partners to understand current state processes, identify challenges and opportunities, establish target state processes and determine project requirements and approach. Build or assist in building test plan based on defined requirements and use cases to ensure project outcome is meeting the project objectives Assist with User Acceptance Test (UAT) efforts and validation. Perform other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications  | Bachelor degree in one (1) of the following areas: computer technology, business management, management information or computer systems, or related field. Two (2) years as Business Analyst or related work experience. Experience with managing the requirements lifecycle, assessing project requirements, managing test plans, and developing technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications  | Certification in Business Analysis. Three (3) or more years as Business Analyst or related work experience. Experience with Agile and other Project Management methodologies. Experience with creating statements of work, vendor evaluation, and managing contractor resources. Experience using Project Management tools such as MS Project, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.

Ability to communicate complex concepts and models using understandable visual representations. Professional facilitation and presentation skills for all types of engagements. Lead by example with confidence, a positive attitude, patience, honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of commitment. Ability to quickly absorbed new and different types of information and modify and adapt existing knowledge to work effectively in rapidly changing and evolving environments.
