This IT Manager role reports to the Director of Infrastructure and Operations and manages the Infrastructure Administration team, which is responsible for storage, virtualization, and cloud systems for the School of Medicine IT office.
The Manager ensures compliance with IT security policies and service level agreements, oversees health monitoring and resource consumption for managed systems and other key performance indicators, and ensures managed-systems software is properly installed, configured, and maintained. The role requires demonstrated supervisory experience and proficiency with Windows Server and Linux Server operating systems and management tools such as Ansible, SCCM, PowerShell, and Red Hat Satellite; experience managing a team of systems administrators is a plus.
A Master's degree with 1-2 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience is required (or an accepted combination of related education and experience). This is a full-time permanent EHRA Non-Faculty position; salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
