Description: 
Markon is seeking an IT Project Manager to support our Intelligence Customer.

Responsibilities: 
  • Manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and programmatic requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of PMF (Project Management Framework) compliance, including scheduling, control gates, deliverable reviews, meeting coordination, and documentation.
  • Track and manage project timelines using tools such as Microsoft Project, PMTool, and other customer-specified data visualization platforms.
  • Perform technical writing, including the development, version control, and maintenance of project documentation, PMF deliverables, and baseline materials.
  • Monitor and manage project action items, procurement activities, and related research and documentation.
  • Prepare and deliver project briefings and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external offices to leverage shared expertise and ensure project success.
  • Coordinate with customer security personnel to support project Certification and Accreditation (C&A) efforts.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
  • Project Management Expertise: Certifications or formal training in traditional and Agile project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
  • IT Project Experience: Proven experience managing technical/IT projects within the Customer environment, including oversight of technical teams, navigating control gates, technical review boards, and obtaining Customer acceptance.
  • Customer Environment Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Customer's field operations, organizational structure, internal policies, processes, and Project Management Framework.
  • Communication & Coordination: Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, plan and execute projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • High-Pressure Performance: Ability to deliver quality work on short deadlines in a fast-paced and potentially high-stress environment.
  • Multitasking & Independence: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously; self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within dynamic teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Access
  • Experience with project tracking tools and official Customer messaging systems
  • Mission Focused: Strong dedication to mission success; willing to go the extra mile to meet time-critical requirements.
  • Background in field communications and coordination

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with ServiceNow and PowerBI

 Salary Range: USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
