| Pay Range Information | Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. |
| Job Description Summary | The K–12 Professional Learning Specialist serves within TPI’s K–12 Practice Initiatives and is responsible for supporting school districts and school sites in strengthening educator capacity to meet the needs of diverse learners. The K–12 Professional Learning Specialist is a highly qualified educator with deep knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices. This role leads and supports professional learning activities, including classroom observations, coaching, modeling, and feedback designed to strengthen instructional effectiveness and improve student outcomes. The K–12 Professional Learning Specialist works collaboratively with site and district leaders to advance strategic priorities related to educational access, equity, and high-quality learning opportunities for all students, including students with disabilities. This position requires regular travel within California to support TPI’s K–12 Practice Initiatives across multiple sites. The employee must have reliable transportation, the ability to travel independently as needed, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. to perform job duties. |
