How can you make an impact?
The Knowledge Specialist will be responsible for implementing a Knowledge Management (KM) framework across all McGraw Hill business units. The specialist will be responsible for the setup, governance, adoption and success of the new framework. In addition, the incumbent will drive continuous improvement of this framework in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business. The specialist will reside with the Customer Experience Team and report to the Training Manager. The knowledge specialist will develop the topic list and produce the structure of support (account & technical) content for use across various channels including web, product platforms and contact center. The knowledge specialist will be responsible for the continued development and implementation of strategies, processes, and tooling for corresponding KM solutions as well as developing KPIs.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the Knowledge Management (KM) Framework by building, managing, and continuously improving its structure, workflows, and governance in alignment with industry best practices and organizational needs.
- Develop and implement a strategic KM roadmap that incorporates advanced tools, processes, and training programs to support enterprise-wide knowledge capture, organization, and sharing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align KM efforts with broader organizational learning strategies and ensure consistent, high-quality content development following established guidelines.
- Promote a knowledge-sharing culture within site operations by advocating KM initiatives, recognizing and addressing cultural challenges, and developing programs to drive adoption and engagement.
- Track, analyze, and report KM effectiveness using KPIs focused on adoption, usage of high-value content, and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance organizational outcomes.
- Leverage industry insights and internal success stories to inform KM strategy, drive innovation, and evangelize the value and impact of the KM program across the organization.
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of proven experience implementing Knowledge Management (KM) strategies.
- Track record of building KM programs within the technology sector or technical functions of large, global organizations.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing in matrixed environments, and managing stakeholder relationships across various levels, including senior leadership.
- Exceptional communication abilities, including open and effective communication styles, skilled negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Highly self-motivated and organized, with strong prioritization and critical thinking skills; thrives under pressure and maintains a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, and adept at fostering consensus and driving alignment across varied teams and functions.

The pay range for this position is between $54,550-$74,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered. Click
