Job Summary
Lead ADA Accessibility Process Manager
Purdue IT / Remote

Purdue University is seeking a Lead ADA Accessibility Process Manager to help advance institutional accessibility initiatives across technology systems, business processes, and governance practices. This role serves as a key partner in supporting compliance with federal accessibility requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act by translating accessibility obligations into practical, scalable, and sustainable operational processes. This position does not perform legal determinations or adjudication functions.

The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of process management, stakeholder engagement, systems thinking, and accessibility knowledge. Working with limited oversight, this individual will collaborate with partners across legal, procurement, accessibility, human resources, academic units, and IT to drive improvements that enhance accessibility and institutional readiness.
 
What You'll Do
  • Lead the analysis, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of accessibility-related processes and operational frameworks

  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups to achieve shared outcomes

What We're Looking For
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience driving process improvement initiatives
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
 
Preferred:
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience
 
Skills Required:
  • Must possess the knowledge and soft skills to be a leading member of a team, to provide feedback, to train others, and to assign applicable duties
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the skill required to deliver instructional presentations to audiences of varying professional levels and technological sophistications while appropriately addressing feedback
  • Ability to:
    • work with and provide governance to a wide-ranging team of service providing partners to contribute to the development of policies and solutions which allow for high levels of operational credibility and customer satisfaction
    • design, propose, and manage multiple projects independently and consistently to meet tight deadlines with quality results
