University of Rhode Island is hiring a Lead Programmer Analyst. The role analyzes, designs, codes, installs, and maintains major integrated administrative systems, coordinates system development within an institutional framework, and manages project and supervisory responsibilities.

Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements for university-wide systems.
Lead the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of PeopleSoft and other enterprise applications.
Manage project schedules, resources, and team coordination for system development and maintenance.
Develop specifications and review programs to ensure compliance with standards.
Supervise and evaluate project team members and provide training and support.
Proficiency with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, ERP applications, Java, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQL, Crystal Reports, BI Publisher, and relational databases (preferred).
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Finance modules, and cloud-based applications such as Workday and Oracle Cloud ERP (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with 4+ years experience, or Associate’s degree with 6+ years experience.
Strong analytical, communication, supervisory skills, and ability to work with diverse teams and minimal supervision.
