Highlights

Manage participant recruitment, retention, and scheduling communications.
Collect data including informed consent, biospecimens (blood, urine, saliva, stool, hair, toenails), and conduct study measurements.
Assist with participant meal pick-up in controlled feeding studies and other study activities to meet study goals.
Process and ship biological specimens and attend community outreach events.
Oversee study device software and hardware management and provide system troubleshooting and support.
Develop and implement bi-monthly protocol review sessions to ensure team adherence to study protocols.
Support quality assurance for scheduling, documentation, and manage educational/promotional materials for participants.
Coordinate with external services for specimen processing and provide emergency support at Chapel Hill site.
Required skills include proficiency with REDCap, HealthPro, ASA24, Actilife, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn, and strong verbal communication/explanatory skills.
Minimum qualification is a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; position requires flexible scheduling including early mornings, weekends, and some travel between Kannapolis and Chapel Hill.
Compensation is set at $24.04 per hour for full-time temporary employment (40 hours/week) lasting 6 to 11 months.
