ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a forward-thinking Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to lead the design, execution, and optimization of our company-wide learning strategy—with a strong emphasis on sales and product knowledge development that extends beyond traditional sales training. This is a high-impact role responsible for cultivating a culture of continuous learning, enhancing organizational performance, and supporting the development of our people at every level.

This role requires expertise in instructional design, program measurement, and learning technology management. The ideal candidate will blend strategic vision with hands-on execution and be passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that drive business outcomes.

How Will You Help

Learning Strategy & Culture
  • Develop and implement a scalable learning and development strategy focused on sales and product enablement while supporting broader organizational learning needs.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning across all departments by aligning training initiatives with organizational goals, values, and competencies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, HR, and business leaders to identify capability gaps and design targeted learning interventions.
Program & Content Development
  • Design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning programs using proven instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and SAM.
  • Create engaging learning content that supports a variety of learning styles, delivery formats (in-person, virtual, blended), and audiences.
  • Oversee the development of onboarding programs, sales/product certifications, and skills-based training pathways.
Learning Measurement & Impact
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using models such as the Kirkpatrick Model and translate results into actionable improvements.
  • Connect learning initiatives to key performance indicators (KPIs), business outcomes, and employee development metrics.
  • Communicate the ROI and impact of learning programs to senior leadership through dashboards and reporting.
Learning Technology Ownership
  • Own the learning technology stack, including ongoing management of the Learning Management System (LMS) and future integration with HRIS platforms.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and implementation of learning tools and platforms.
  • Ensure a seamless learner experience and effective content management across digital learning platforms.

What Will You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, with a focus on sales or product training.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, including use of ADDIE, SAM, or other models.
  • Proven experience measuring program effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick Model or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with LMS administration and learning technology management.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into effective learning solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or other ATD certifications
  • Instructional Design certifications (e.g., ATD Instructional Designer, eLearning Guild credentials, or equivalent)

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually*.
