Position Overview:
The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging, effective learning experiences for adult learners across various formats, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced environments. This role combines instructional design expertise with facilitation skills to support organizational learning and development initiatives.

Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), department leaders, and other stakeholders, the Learning and Development Specialist assesses learning needs, creates instructional materials, and implements training solutions that align with business goals. The role also includes evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making data-informed improvements to continuously enhance learning outcomes.

What You Will Do:
  • Design and develop engaging instructional content for in-person, virtual, and self-paced training programs using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Optimize the use of e-learning tools, particularly Articulate Rise & Storyline, to create interactive, accessible, and scalable digital learning experiences.
  • Facilitate training sessions across various formats, ensuring an inclusive, interactive, and effective learning experience for diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and translate business objectives into instructional strategies.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance data.
  • Manage multiple training projects from concept to delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with organizational goals.
