Position Summary
The Learning and Development Specialist plays a key role in supporting the execution of the company’s learning strategy by coordinating and delivering high-impact training programs across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Learning and Development, this role focuses on program logistics and execution, learner experience, content support, and learning operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, brings experience supporting training and leadership development programs, and is passionate about helping employees grow and succeed through structured learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support enterprise-wide learning programs
  • Support the full cycle of training and leadership development programs including content creation, delivery, facilitation, and evaluation
  • Manage scheduling, communications, materials preparation, and learner tracking for training programs
  • Support the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support the evaluation of training effectiveness through feedback collection, surveys, and basic data analysis
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to update and enhance learning content
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for live and virtual training sessions, including calendar invites, meeting setup, and follow-up communications
  • Manage learning calendars and content while collaborating with Internal Marketing on communications
  • Assist with vendor coordination, invoice tracking, and learning budget documentation as needed
  • Champion a culture of learning by ensuring a smooth and engaging learner experience across all programs
  • Perform additional responsibilities and tasks assigned to meet department and organizational goals

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in a learning and development, training coordination, or HR support role
  • Skilled in facilitating interactive and impactful learning experiences focused on professional and leadership development
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Demonstrated experience building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program execution
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Up to 20% of required travel for training facilitations and site visits

Preferred:
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing the end-to-end process of professional development and leadership training initiatives
  • Working knowledge of instructional design principles and learning technologies
  • Familiarity with tools like Articulate, Canva, and Google Workspace Apps
  • Preferred remote location is within the Eastern Time Zone, but all qualified candidates will be considered
