Position Overview
The Learning Specialist (LS) plays a critical role in enabling AssistRx employees to perform at their best. This individual designs and delivers impactful onboarding, upskilling, and continuous learning programs that equip teams with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to succeed in a complex healthcare environment.

As a subject-matter expert in their assigned domain (e.g., Patient Services, Field Teams, Marketing, or Operations), the Learning Specialist partners cross-functionally to assess learning needs, design scalable solutions, and deliver training using modern adult-learning principles and technologies.

This role is ideal for a learning professional who is consultative, data-driven, and energized by real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Delivery
  •  Design, facilitate, and continuously improve onboarding and upskilling programs aligned to AssistRx business goals. 
  •  Deliver engaging training using adult-learning best practices across multiple formats, including: 
    •  Virtual instructor-led sessions 
    •  E-learning and self-paced modules 
    •  Video, workshops, and collaborative learning experiences 
  •  Serve as a trusted learning partner and subject-matter expert within assigned functional areas. 
Needs Assessment & Stakeholder Partnership
  •  Partner with internal stakeholders (Patient Services leaders, Field Management, Marketing, and others) to identify performance gaps and learning priorities. 
  •  Conduct needs assessments and instructional analysis to ensure training solutions are relevant, consistent, and scalable. 
  •  Translate complex healthcare, pharmaceutical, and system concepts into clear, actionable learning experiences. 
Content Development & Innovation
  •  Collaborate closely with the Instructional Design team to develop high-quality digital learning content. 
  •  Continuously evaluate and introduce new learning methods, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and learner engagement. 
  •  Ensure training materials remain current with evolving regulations, workflows, and business needs. 
Measurement & Compliance
  •  Track training attendance, completion, and learner progress using established systems and documentation standards. 
  •  Maintain accurate training logs and records; report on training effectiveness and employee readiness. 
  •  Support compliance and audit readiness through consistent documentation and reporting.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  •  Proven experience in learning & development, training facilitation, or instructional design
  •  Strong working knowledge of adult learning theory and modern L&D methodologies. 
  •  Experience leveraging instructional technologies to deploy, manage, and track learning for distributed teams. 
  •  Exceptional communication and presentation skills with confidence facilitating large groups. 
  •  Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and operate effectively in a matrixed organization. 
  •  Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth, healthcare or technology environment
Preferred Qualifications
  •  2–3 years of experience delivering instructor-led training within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or health-tech environments
  •  Experience training large, geographically dispersed teams. 
  •  Familiarity with patient services, hub services, or specialty pharmacy workflows. 
  •  Background partnering with instructional designers on digital learning solutions.
