Description
The Learning Consultant partners with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross‑functional teams to assess capability needs and design effective learning solutions that drive performance and business results.

This role serves as a trusted advisor in learning strategy, instructional design, facilitation, and learning technology. In addition, the Learning Consultant delivers engaging learning experiences across in‑person, virtual, and hybrid environments and coaches others on effective facilitation practices, ensuring learning solutions are both impactful and executable within their supported groups or areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Partners with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross functional teams

  • Works collaboratively with their assigned business leaders and HR team to conduct learning needs analysis to identify capability gaps, performance challenges and skill development needs.
  • Designs, creates, implements and facilitates end-to-end engaging and impactful learning solutions including instructor led, virtual sessions, eLearning, and hybrid programs. This includes storyboards, facilitation guides, participant materials, job aids, and assessments.
  • Measures the effectiveness of learning programs including analyzing learning data and providing insights that inform opportunities for continuous improvement and business impact.
  • Acts as a consultant by guiding subject matter experts on best practices and measurement strategies. Facilitate collaboration with SMEs and project teams to ensure timely and effective program delivery.
  • Leads learning initiatives from scoping through launch and evaluation including but not limited to managing timelines, resources and related program logistics.
  • Supports the implementation of the Company’s learning and development tools to ensure usage is adequate and understood across the organization.

Education & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Human Resources or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in L&D or instructional design.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction from manager.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
  • Ability to understand business and business strategy and to apply learning theories and tools to support strategic business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience reporting impact, results and communicating to stakeholders.
  • Relationship-driven with strong leadership and excellent interpersonal
  • Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency when pushing for results; delivers on results despite obstacles.
