Position Overview
The Learning & Development Coordinator will be an integral member of the Learning & Development (L&D) team for the Lockton Northeast Series.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage training calendars, rosters, and storage of documents for multiple programs.
  • Project manage L&D events, meetings, and various initiatives.
  • Maintains files of correspondence and other records.
  • Develops proficiency in and assists with answering internal questions about our Learning Management System, Cornerstone.
  • Manages input of training schedules, learning modules and training emails through Cornerstone.
  • Provides guidance on obtaining insurance designations, licensing, and continuing education.
  • Provides support with L&D programs, training, and events.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent education and/or experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to attend company meetings outside of the office which may require travel.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience preferred but not required with the Cornerstone Learning Management System.
  • Advanced skills with email and calendar systems such as Outlook.
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize busy workload to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and people skills.
  • Firm, fluent grasp of the English language with high level verbal, written, listening, and people skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to make decisions in compliance with established company standards of quality performance and service.
  • Strong value of service to others.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage critically sensitive and confidential information precisely and carefully.
  • Capable of performing simultaneous multiple tasks with the ability to respond and refocus quickly.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
