We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an L&D Tax Senior Specialist to join the Learning & Development team.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR TEAM.

CohnReznick is deeply invested in the personal and professional development of our team members, with the Center for Learning and Development (CLD) playing a pivotal role in this commitment. Reporting directly to the L&D Manager, Tax Learning, this role is a senior individual contributor responsible for the design, development, and execution of enterprise Tax learning solutions. The Senior Specialist partners closely with the Tax Learning Manager to translate strategy into high-quality learning experiences by building scalable curricula, level-based technical learning pathways, and extended learning toolkits. This role plays a critical hands-on role in curriculum architecture, instructional design, and learning experience delivery across U.S. and global offices, working with Tax professionals and subject matter experts to convert complex technical content into engaging, instructionally sound learning.

We believe it’s important to balance work with everyday life – and make time for enjoyment and fun. We invest in a robust Total Rewards package that includes everything from generous PTO, a flexible work environment, expanded parental leave, extensive learning & development, and even paid time off for employees to volunteer.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Own the end‑to‑end instructional design and development of assigned Tax learning programs, including needs analysis, learning architecture, design, development, and evaluation
  • Design level-based technical learning pathways aligned to Tax career progression and firm priorities
  • Develop interactive eLearning, blended programs, and hands-on technical learning experiences using adult learning and learning experience design (LxD) best practices
  • Partner with Tax SMEs to extract content and convert it into instructionally sound, learner-centered experiences
  • Create and maintain learning assets and toolkits (job aids, practice guides, simulations, assessments) that support application on the job
  • Partner with the Tax Learning Manager on curriculum improvements, learning innovation, and scalability
  • Measure learning effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements using learner feedback and performance insights
  • Ensure learning solutions are designed for consistency, scalability, and global deployment

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, Business, Education, Instructional Design, or related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or curriculum development, with experience designing technical or compliance-driven learning preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
