Job Summary:
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will contribute to the design, delivery and administration of learning programs that build the skills, safety awareness and leadership capabilities of our salaried and hourly associates throughout creative werks (CW). Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager and sitting within the broader HR team, you’ll consult and obtain feedback from the business helping to ensure learning experiences are practical, accessible and aligned with operational needs. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the full learning lifecycle covering on needs assessment, facilitation, learning systems administration, content development and program evaluation.
What You'll Own & Achieve:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of learning programs for manufacturing associates, including onboarding, safety, compliance, technical skills and leadership development
- Facilitate and support in-person and virtual learning sessions, workshops and group activities for CW employees
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including user access, course assignments, content updates, completion tracking and reporting
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, assessments and compliance documentation
- Develop and organize training materials such work instructions, job aids, presentations, facilitator guides and eLearning content
- Partner with the business to identify learning needs and align learning priorities with operational goals
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, materials, facilities and communications
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using assessments, surveys and participant feedback to recommend areas of improvement
- Monitor the annual training calendar to support operational priorities and compliance requirements
- Stay current on learning best practices, learning trends and principles and manufacturing training approaches
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a Learning & Development, Training, HR, Talent Development or manufacturing-related training role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint) and comfort learning new digital tools
- Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) and exposure to eLearning tools (e.g. Cornerstone, 360Learning, SuccessFactors, DominKnow, Articulate 360) preferred but not required
- Interest in or exposure to manufacturing, operations, safety, or industrial learning environments
- Familiarity with adult learning principles, blended learning approaches, facilitation techniques, and basic instructional design concepts a plus but not required
- Sound communication, organizational and presentation skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, dynamic environment
- A respectful, inclusive approach to working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Spanish fluency is a plus but not required
Food Safety Responsibilities:
- Attend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness)
- Participate in company GMP walks
- Enforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoring
Working Conditions:
- Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees
- This position may require the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business

The approved annualized base compensation range for this role is established at $50,000 - $72,000. Final offer amounts will be determined based on candidate skills, qualifications, experience and domain expertise.
