About Us: PurgeRite, the leader in high-quality mechanical flushing services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced QHSE and Training Administrator to help support our organization as we undergo exciting and rapid growth. This role will report to the QHSE Manager and will be the engine behind our safety compliance and workforce development, ensuring our teams are trained, equipped, and ready to meet the rigorous standards of our top-tier clients.
Position Overview: This role is the primary administrative anchor for the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) department. This role will be responsible for the integrity of our safety documentation, the management of our training systems, and the coordination of facility-wide compliance efforts. This role will ensure that every team member has the knowledge and equipment needed to operate safely and with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Learning Management (LMS)
• System Administration: Manage E-Learning accounts and the Electronic QHSE Management System (EQMS).
• Matrix Oversight: Maintain the company-wide training matrix and provide status reports to leadership regarding compliance gaps.
• Credentialing: Upload completion evidence (rosters, assessment results, certificates) to the LMS and issue official certificates to employees.
• Scheduling: Manage training calendars for upcoming sessions, refresher courses, and external certifications.
• Material Coordination: Organize and maintain all physical and digital training materials.
QHSE Documentation & System Integrity
• Compliance Records: Support the QHSE department by scanning, reconciling, filing, and archiving critical safety records.
• Data Maintenance: Ensure all administration databases and tracking tools are up-to-date and audit-ready.
• Project Documentation: Manage submittals, safety requirements, and Requests for Information (RFI) for active projects.
• Incident Support: Handle Workers’ Comp entry and maintain logs for safety inspections and incidents.
Facility Compliance & Operational Support
• Asset Management: Manage PPE inventory and coordinate the distribution of gear to staff.
• Process Improvement: Design and update safety checklists within the HSI platform and track ongoing changes to SOPs and forms.
• Communication: Draft safety alerts for employees and contractors; facilitate meetings and record detailed minutes as directed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to ensure safety and training goals support production timelines as directed.
Requirements:
• Understanding of relevant HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all stakeholders.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, Forms suite, LMS, and QHSE Management programs (Safetyculture, HSI, or similar.)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HSE or document control role.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant safety certifications are preferred.
• ISO 9001 Training is preferred.
• First Aid, CPR, AED Certifications.
• Associate’s degree in health and safety or relevant experience.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Experience in construction, industrial services, or mechanical contracting industries.
