Job Summary
The Learning and Development Specialist is a creative-minded individual who will be an essential part of development and training for our world-class customer service training. The. Learning Specialist works in an supportive capacity to the Sr. Learning & Development Specialist in developing effective learning solutions and opportunities towards business objectives, Authorized Network performance, and employee development. The Learning Specialist is responsible for conducting impactful learning initiatives using a variety of experiences - in-person training classes, live and recorded webinars, on-demand videos and virtual classroom sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
  • Embodies the consistent and effective use of the Cirrus Service essentials.
  • Supports the Cirrus World Class customer experience standardization and training within Cirrus and across the Cirrus authorized network.
  • Facilitates and delivers development programs via classroom, webinar, or other virtual environments in an engaging manner that is inclusive of various adult learning styles.
  • Assists in the creation of instructional videos, webinars, & presentations for HR related initiatives, such as onboarding, safety procedures, career development, employer branding, etc.
  • Assists in creation of instructional videos, webinars, presentations & supporting documents for guest service-related initiatives, such as onboarding, career development, employer branding, etc.
  • Conducts measurements of learning initiatives, programs, and materials; recommends improvements and adjustments to increase learning engagement and retention
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Travel Requirements estimated at 50%, including the potential need to travel internationally.
  • Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 5%; must have driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, education, human resources, aviation or related area
  • 5+ years’ experience in presenting, facilitating, and leading training
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven creativity with experience in education
  • Strong written and verbal communication including facilitation skills
  • Knowledgeable in traditional and modern learning techniques
  • Knowledgeable in digital learning media (infographic, training videos, etc.)
  • MS Office Suite proficient, Apple platform environment experience preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
  • Training certifications a plus including personality systems (D.I.S.C. , Myers Briggs, Strength Finders,etc.)
