At LCRA, we are seeking a driven Learning and Development Specialist to support our Generation group in Wholesale Power Services. This is an opportunity to develop engaging instructional content for our power plant facilities and supporting organizations. In this role you will collaborate closely with technical experts within operations, maintenance, environmental and engineering teams. You will be trusted to:- Develop, distribute and maintain instructional content tailored for adult learning across a wide range of topics.
- Develop and maintain training content comprehension
- Coach and provide feedback on various informational resources; including technical presentations, procedures, recruiting brochures, etc.

You qualify with:- Nine or more years of experience in companywide and/or operational training and development programs or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in human resource management, business administration, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

- Previous experience working in a technical industry and/or developing technical training.
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning and development programs
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
