Summary:The successful candidate in this role will be primarily responsible for the successful, delivery, execution, and management of new hire training programs supporting Territory Business Mangers and Regional Business Directors. This role ensures sales force readiness through effective onboarding, enablement operations, and continuous capability development in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Job requirements
Required: - 4-year degree
- 2–3 years pharmaceutical sales training experience; communications experience a plus, must demonstrate excellent project management and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Background in project management, Instructional Design or Learning & Development
Job responsibilities
Liaison Responsibilities
- Support Sales teams by organizing content for new hire onboarding, National Field Meetings (NFMs), POA meetings, and ongoing Field Sales development
- Interface with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Compliance, and Enablement partners to and deliver relevant training solutions
Design Responsibilities
- With Learning & Development team, Conduct ongoing learning and development needs analysis for Sales Representatives
- Maintain a and update when needed the virtual and in person Training Plan aligned to commercial priorities and sales readiness milestones
- Define curriculum sequencing, and success metrics for all sales training initiatives
Development Responsibilities
- Design and develop training content for new hire onboarding, selling skills, product knowledge, and operational excellence
- Partner with vendors and internal developers to ensure high-quality, compliant learning assets
- Manage training logistics, materials, and intellectual property
- Delivery Responsibilities (Most Critical)- Deliver live and virtual training for Sales Representatives, including new hire onboarding, advanced training, POA, and NSMs
- Evaluate learner competency and provide feedback to Sales Leadership
Enablement Operations & Onboarding (Sales Representatives)
- Lead and coordinate all logistics involved with new hire training, including but not limited to new hire welcome letter, assigning new hire modules, checking in on progression of virtual new hire curriculum, ordering marketing materials for new hire training, scheduling hotels and logistics for new hires to attend any live training sessions ensuring rapid readiness and compliance
- Lead the field communications biweekly Newsletter.
- Working with cross-functional partners on content and ensuring that Newsletter has gone through appropriate review channels prior to delivery.
- Deliver operational excellence training focused on tools, systems, and field processes
- Track and report L&D metrics including completion, engagement, and readiness indicators
- Manage L&D intake and ad hoc training requests from commercial stakeholders
- Support POA and NFMs including run-of-show development, material coordination, tracking, and post-meeting follow-up
