As a Learning & Development Training Specialist, you’ll help shape what it truly means to be a Roadie. This role is all about creating meaningful training, development, and cultural programs that bring people together, strengthen engagement, and support growth at every level of the organization. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Operations, the People team, Communications, and external partners to foster an inclusive, welcoming environment where every Roadie feels empowered to show up, speak up, and thrive.
*This position will work a hybrid schedule at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky.
What’s On Your Plate
- Design, deliver, or oversee cultural training programs that elevate the Roadie experience
- Lead and administer Legendary for All Council programs (including leadership summits, ESL initiatives, and development forums)
- Build and maintain strategic external partnerships that enhance learning and engagement
- Analyze people and culture data to continuously improve training and development initiatives
- Drive awareness and participation in Legendary for All programs through compelling internal communications and event planning
- Partner with Council and Committee leaders to facilitate meetings, set agendas, and align efforts with business priorities
- Keep Legendary for All resources fresh, visible, and engaging across internal platforms
- Support engagement efforts within the Training Department and track program feedback and outcomes
Your Recipe for Success
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Organizational Development, HR, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in training, employee engagement, hospitality leadership, or internal communications
- Proven success leading cross‑functional programs, events, or initiatives
- Background in restaurant or hospitality environments strongly preferred
- Experience developing or supporting cultural and engagement-focused programs preferred
- Strong project and event management skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator and facilitator—comfortable presenting to small groups or large audiences
- Highly collaborative, relationship‑driven, and able to connect across diverse teams and leadership levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and content creation tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva
