Job Scope and Accountabilities
Kahua is seeking a Learning & Enablement Specialist to design and deliver structured, role-specific onboarding programs for new hires across the organization. This role sits within the Enablement team and is responsible for ensuring new employees have a clear, engaging, and effective pathway from their first week through their role-based training. This position partners closely with HR (who owns Day One), IT, and department leaders to ensure new hires transition smoothly into foundational Week One learning, followed by tailored Week Two role enablement. The Learning & Enablement Specialist develops training content, maintains the onboarding curriculum, tracks readiness progress, and ensures every new hire enters their team equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.You will be a key contributor to how Kahua accelerates time-to-productivity, increases role clarity, strengthens cross-functional collaboration, and drives long-term employee success.

Key ResponsibilitiesOnboarding Curriculum + Learning Pathways
Develop and maintain structured Week One foundational training covering tools, workflows, Kahua product basics, customer context, and operating rhythms.Design and manage Week Two role-based learning paths tailored for Sales, CS, Product, Engineering, Support, and corporate roles.Create and update training documentation, playbooks, guides, and resources using SmartPages, Teams, and LMS platforms.Ensure all onboarding materials align with Kahua’s values, culture, business goals, and product evolution.
Cross-Functional Partnership Work seamlessly with HR to create a consistent new hire experience from Day One through team handoff.Collaborate with department leaders and SMEs to ensure training content reflects accurate and current role expectations.Maintain strong communication with hiring managers regarding new hire progress, readiness markers, and completion of key milestones.Coordinate with HR/IT to ensure systems access and tools required for Week One and Week Two enablement are ready.
Program Delivery & Facilitation
Facilitate onboarding sessions (virtual but primarily in-person) that are engaging, clear, and aligned to audience needs.Guide new hires through foundational learning modules, practice activities, and Kahua workflows.Support new hire cohorts through the first two weeks, ensuring clarity on expectations, timelines, and next steps.
Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
Track new hire progress, engagement, and completion of learning objectives.Gather feedback from new hires, managers, and SMEs to continuously improve the onboarding program.Identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement enhancements to increase efficiency, scalability, and impact.Provide regular reporting to leadership on program effectiveness, time-to-productivity, and readiness trends.
Experience Required
3–5 years of experience in onboarding, training, enablement, workforce development, or early-career talent programs.Experience designing and delivering structured role-specific onboarding programs in SaaS, PaaS, or Construction Technology environments.Proven success working cross-functionally with HR, IT, and departmental leaders to design and execute multi-stage onboarding strategies.Experience facilitating training for mixed audiences and multiple functions.
Education / Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field.
