You and Your Job
As a Learning Experience Designer you will be successful transforming complex organizational content into engaging, scalable digital learning that advances leadership development, talent processes, culture initiatives, and mandatory training, enabling a shift from facilitator‑led delivery to modern, self‑service learning across the region.
The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) is responsible for transforming complex organizational content into engaging, scalable, and modern learning experiences that support leadership development, talent processes, culture transformation, and mandatory learning. This role helps the OD team shift from high-volume, facilitator-led delivery to digital, self-service learning — including videos, microlearning, eLearning, and compelling intranet content.
The LXD increases the efficiency, reach, and consistency of the region’s learning initiatives, enabling leaders and employees to access high quality learning at the moment of need. This role partners closely with the OD team to drive digital enablement across leadership development, culture initiatives, talent processes, and compliance training.
Job Responsibilities
Digital Learning Design & Development
• Design and produce engaging digital learning assets, including short-form videos, microlearning, eLearning modules (Rise/Storyline), infographics, toolkits, and guides.
• Convert facilitator-led sessions into self-directed content (e.g., clinics, process walk-throughs, HR procedure training).
• Apply adult learning principles and behavior-change methodologies to ensure content is relevant, accessible, and impactful.
Leadership Development Reinforcement
• Partner with the Manager, Talent Development to create digital reinforcement for leadership programs.
• Build microlearning, nudges, and learning bites that reinforce coaching, feedback, goal-setting, and leadership expectations.
• Support the integration of the Balanced Leadership Guide across offsites, 1:1 coaching, and team learning experiences.
Culture, DEI, and Recognition Content
• Develop compelling culture content that supports the One Bank strategy, including explainer videos, storytelling assets, and digital toolkits.
• Create or update RaboHub (intranet) pages for culture, DEI, ERGs, and recognition programs.
• Partner with the OD team to build microlearning and digital campaigns that reinforce cultural behaviors and HR processes.
Mandatory Training & Compliance Support
• Work closely with the Program Manager for Mandatory Training to refresh or create eLearning modules, videos, and digital assets that clarify requirements and enhance learner engagement.
• Ensure learning content meets accessibility, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Support Program Manager with employee assignments for Mandatory Training
Talent & Performance Process Enablement
• Convert complex talent processes (GROW, Succession Planning, HiPo selection) into user-friendly videos, guides, and just in time learning resources.
• Create digital content that supports leaders and employees during annual HR cycles.
• Partner with the Talent Management Partner to align content with data insights and user needs.
Collaboration & Consulting
• Partner closely with the wider HR team members to identify opportunities for digital learning interventions that reduce manual workload.
• Collaborate with SMEs across HR and the business to accurately translate content into modern learning formats.
• Advocate for user-centered design and consistent digital learning standards across the region.
Your Promise to Us:
To be considered for the Learning Experience Designer role, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or Digital Media/Multimedia Production or 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Instructional design certifications (ATD, eLearning Guild, or similar)
- Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline) certification or demonstrable proficiency
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator) coursework
- Vyond, Camtasia, or video editing training
- UX or human-centered design coursework/certification
- Microlearning design training

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
