I. Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Immersive Learning Experience Developer to join our dynamic Learning & Leadership Development team. This role is responsible for designing and delivering interactive, engaging, and experiential learning programs that drive business impact. The ideal candidate will be passionate about human-centered design, experienced in design thinking, and skilled at leading collaborative design sessions with stakeholders.
As an Immersive Learning Experience Developer, you will work closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to create relevant, innovative, and measurable learning experiences. You will ensure that programs are learner-centric, immersive, and aligned with organizational goals to improve performance and capability development.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Develop Experiential Learning Programs – Create interactive, scenario-based, simulation-driven, and hands-on learning experiences that foster engagement, critical thinking, and real-world application.
- Prototype and Design - Translate concepts into working prototypes, collaborate with artists and designers, and implement user interactions and spatial interfaces
- Utilize Design Thinking & Agile Methods – Apply an iterative approach to prototyping, testing, and refining learning solutions based on feedback and business needs.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Partner with business leaders, SMEs, learning consultants, facilitators, and technology teams to co-create impactful learning experiences.
- Integrate Immersive Learning Technologies – Leverage tools such as VR, AR, gamification, and simulations where applicable to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Advocate for Learning Innovation – Stay ahead of industry trends in immersive learning, adult learning theory, and performance-based training to enhance program design.
- Develop AR/VR or Game Applications - Write code, integrate 3D assets, optimize performance, and deploy interactive experiences using Unity, Unreal Engine, ARKit, ARCore, or WebXR

IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must live and work in the US.
- Proven expertise in developing engaging, interactive, and learner-centric experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Proficiency in design thinking methodologies, agile learning development, and human-centered design principles.
- Experience developing and implementing VR, AR, simulation-based, and gamified learning experiences is a plus.
- Strong client-facing skills, with experience leading stakeholder meetings and creatively ideating within constraints to develop effective learning solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficiency in learning design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or other simulation/gamification tools).
A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
Experience: Five (5) years of relevant work experience instructional design, learning experience design, or corporate training, with a focus on experiential and immersive learning. (in addition to education requirement)

The expected pay range for this remote position across the U.S is $89,000- $112,000K. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
