Learning Management System Coordinator
Description
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) seeks a Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator in our Professional Education & Engagement Department. The LMS Coordinator will serve as the key point of contact for learners within the American Diabetes Association’s Institute of Learning. This grant-funded position will answer user questions, assist in technical issues within the learning management system, and help to program educational offerings within the technology platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the Professional Education email inbox and answer technical questions from registered users in online courses.
- Program educational activities and manage user enrollment, program pages, registration, and integration with third-party tools.
- Support Professional Education team members with LMS updates, responding to requests, and generating reports.
- Generate usage reports and programmatic data to internal staff and supporters.
- Provide program reports for online and live programs as requested.
- Provide general administrative support for various aspects of ADA’s Professional Education team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience
- Experience in learning management systems and online platforms for professional education is a plus
- Fast learner, especially with new technology or systems
- Strong oral and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solveAdept at using Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based applications, such as SharePoint
