The Learning Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient design and delivery of impactful and competitive digital learning experiences in the higher education market. As the successful candidate, you will lead a team of seven experienced Learning Designers across the Focus disciplines of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing, partnering closely with Portfolio Management to shape strategy and achieve growth through the launch of commercially successful products. In this role, you will establish and optimize processes, tools, documentation, and training related to content design, creation, development, and delivery. You will measure portfolio content authoring and production health and collaborate cross-functionally to improve it. You will analyze course usage data and learner (and instructor) satisfaction measures to inform portfolio-level content, design plans, and priorities.
What You'll Do Here:
Understands similarities and differences among key learning, teaching needs, and solutions across team's Disciplines and Courses, and can effectively explain or evangelize them to leadership and collaborators
Empowers Learning Designers to compose pedagogically effective and competitively outstanding content that is in line with portfolio's strategic intent
Informs data collection needs and uses data to report on the efficacy of the content strategy. Guides your team of Learning Designers to continuously enhance the quality of the content and digital learning experiences
Collaborates with technology team to define and deliver content authoring tools and platform capabilities in support of shared needs
Ensures product achievements are met by managing Learning Designer workload; flags resourcing challenges for Portfolio Director/Managers and proposes alternative solutions
Identifies problems related to content production and/or operating model and suggests improvements in processes, documentation, and training in collaboration with leaders in content production
Stays current with EdTech trends and learning science research
Recognizes, hires, onboards, and develops talent, advocating for and preparing them for future growth and career opportunities
Skills you will need here:
BA or BS degree in a related field
Minimum 3-5 years experience in publishing or education technology, within product or portfolio management, product development, marketing, sales or other relevant business roles
Passion for improving education and delivering high-quality learning experiences
Strong communication skills with proven ability to lead and develop a flexible and agile team in a complex and changing environment
Understands how customer needs and challenges translate into opportunities
Creative and curious problem-solver and collaborator
Experience using standard research methods and user testing models
Ability to self-manage personal progress against achievements and results with a high degree of accountability
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, SharePoint, MS Teams

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company's discretionary incentive bonus program. This position's bonus target amount, which is not guaranteed and is dependent on individual performance and overall company results among other factors, is provided below.
$88,600.00 - $115,200.00 USD
