The Learning Program Lead, Engineering & Cloud designs, facilitates, and manages learning experiences that build the engineering, architecture, and cloud capabilities of New York Life’s Technology, Data & AI (TDAV) organization.

This role leads programs such as the TDAV Cloud Academy and technical learning pathways in engineering and cloud disciplines, while also defining what excellence looks like for these skill areas and ensuring learning pathways and assessments align to measurable capability growth.

Additionally, the Learning Program Lead fosters community-based learning opportunities that connect practitioners, promote knowledge-sharing, and build a strong culture of continuous development.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and deliver blended learning programs (self-paced, live, and applied learning) for engineering, architecture, and cloud roles.
  • Define technical excellence for engineering and cloud capabilities in collaboration with SMEs and leadership.
  • Align learning pathways, certifications, and assessments to measure skill growth and performance improvement.
  • Partner with SMEs and vendors (e.g., AWS, Pluralsight) to deliver engaging, certification-aligned programs.
  • Facilitate live workshops, labs, and hackathons that connect learning directly to business outcomes.
  • Foster community-driven learning by launching forums, peer learning sessions, and informal knowledge-sharing opportunities that strengthen technical collaboration.
  • Measure and report learning impact using participation, assessment, certification, and business outcome data.
  • Continuously improve learning content and experiences using feedback and analytics insights.
  • Collaborate across TDAV L&D to integrate programs into the broader learning ecosystem.

What You’ll Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in learning and development, technical enablement, or program design — ideally in an engineering, architecture, or cloud environment.
  • Bachelors/Masters degree preferred.
  • Experience designing and facilitating learning for technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern engineering practices.
  • Ability to define skills and design aligned learning pathways and assessments.
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate and communicate program outcomes.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $97,500-$139,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 
Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
