The Boeing Company’s Learning and Development Production System Training (PST) organization is seeking a Learning Program Management Specialist to join our team at any of the following locations: Everett, WA; Auburn, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA. We are open to a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Specialists to find the best fit for this position.

This role is a multifaceted role so the ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge in instructional design, adult learning theory and overseeing curriculum development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs focused on production training. This role requires strong project management skills, and the ability to design and develop effective training programs in compliance with customer requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement learning curriculum for electrical, mechanical, and avionics flightline systems, aligned to the appropriate processes and procedures

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create learning objectives

  • Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids

  • Apply instructional design models and learning theories, including ADDIE, adult learning principles, and multimedia learning strategies

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary improvements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, production operations, and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of the learning program with other organizational initiatives

  • Be cognizant of budget, including vendor selection, to optimize resources and achieve cost-efficiency

  • Ensure Boeing learning content is aligned to the needs of the business and is compliant (Ground Operating Procedures (GOP), DOD, FAA, OSHA, etc.)

  • Travel to other Boeing locations to support local training

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with instructional principles and methodology (e.g. curriculum development, delivery, summary, assessment, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.)

  • 3+ years of experience developing adult learning curriculums

  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience communicating and presenting with the ability to effectively convey complex information to global audiences

  • Experience developing E-Learning

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and developing training programs in a manufacturing or aviation environment

  • 5+ years of experience with process documentation and technical writing

  • Experience adapting to a fast-paced and changing environment
