Summary
The Learning Resource (LR) Tools Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting of learning resource tools utilized within the institution. The specialist will provide technical expertise, user training, support, and engage with education technology LR Tool Engineers and vendors to ensure the effective integration and functionality of LR tools. Additionally, the specialist will manage partnerships with LR tool vendors, conduct quality assurance and testing, and provide documentation and knowledge sharing to enhance the overall learning experience.

Location: This position requires you to work at our headquarters, 4001 South 700 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84107. You would work a hybrid schedule in the office 4 days a week, with one day remote.

Job Duties

Implements LR tools within the online university environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Possesses technical expertise in LR tool configuration and troubleshooting to resolve issues and optimize functionality.
Provides user training and support for faculty, staff, and students on the effective use of LR tools.
Customizes and configures LR tools to meet the specific needs and requirements of the institution.
Engages with education technology LR Tool Engineers to collaborate on enhancements and improvements to LR tool functionality.
Manages partnerships with LR tool vendors, including communication, negotiation, and collaboration on tool development and support.
Conducts quality assurance and testing of LR tools to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
Creates and maintains documentation related to LR tool implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Shares knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders to promote effective use of LR tools.
