Job Overview
The Learning Solutions Designer designs learning solutions that meet performance needs across all business lines, including both training and non-training interventions. This role requires strong analytical skills to ensure clarity, alignment, and streamlined development, delivering faster, high-quality solutions that drive measurable improvements in job performance.

The Learning Solutions Designer partners with the Instructional Design Manager and team to assess, design, develop, and evaluate training programs that improve employee performance. This role collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts across Aveanna to identify training needs and performance gaps and recommends cross-functional learning solutions that streamline L&D efforts.
 
CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO ATLANTA DUE TO IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze current vs. desired performance and skill levels to pinpoint gaps and determine the knowledge, skills, and behavior changes needed on the job.
  • Partner with all business lines to align needs and streamline cross-functional development.
  • Facilitate intake and SME working sessions to clarify requests and define the right solution approach.
  • Design and develop learning solutions (courses, job aids, reinforcement tools, and documentation).
  • Write clear, practical instructions and training content.
  • Select blended learning approaches that best meet business needs and performance objectives.
  • Own end-to-end project execution—timelines, review cycles, and dependencies—to reduce rework and accelerate delivery.
  • Ensure training materials remain accurate and current in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Deliver and support classroom and virtual training as needed, including facilitator readiness support.

Qualifications
  • RequiredBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, or work-equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum 4 years of end-to-end Learning and Development experience creating learning solutions, including analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation. Seven or more years is preferred.
  • Experience using course-building and design software: Articulate, Camtasia, and Canva (or the Creative Cloud suite).
  • Must show previous samples or have a portfolio.
  • Experience developing online, classroom-based, and blended programs.
  • Proficiency with Windows Office 365 applications is required.
  • Excellent written skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • PreferredHome healthcare experience preferred.
  • Project Management skills preferred.
