Job Summary:
Learning Specialist is accountable for implementation and sustainability of the foundational Training System Elements as well as providing the knowledge and skills to continuously improve site GMP training programs. The Learning Specialist will develop, review and implement programs and procedures to assure conformance with applicable GMP regulations and Pfizer Quality Standards. The position will influence and model the transformation process for building a Learning Organization.
What Will You Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Conducts needs assessments and works with leaders to develop position curricula for core, tasks and general requirements.
- Tracks, trends and analyzes training data to provide solutions aligned with training system processes and documentation.
- Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in a constant state of compliance and audit readiness in line with current regulations, PQS, and business needs.
- Provides coaching for continuous improvement on training methodologies and processes and supports area trainers in the development and design of training solutions.
- Coordinates projects, teams and training events in collaboration with other training colleagues.
- Utilizes appropriate training delivery methods including on-the-job, small groups, classroom training, and knowledge-based training.
- Supports site training programs such as Trainer Qualification Program and general facilitation and project management of site initiatives, as required.
- Provides training support for site and corporative initiatives, as required.
- Provides back up support for PLS Admins for tasks such as reporting, add/removing curriculum, etc.
- Provide off-shift support for training issues such Q-Access
- Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelors degree with 0+ years of experience, OR an Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience, OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of program and project management in support of Lean, Enterprise Excellence, Six Sigma, quality improvement, and similar initiatives
- Experience and working knowledge of Process Monitoring systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and manufacturing procedures and standards
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software.
- Leadership experience in functional area
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.

In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
