Role/ Department: Learning Specialist, Wealth Management Segments/ Wealth Management
The Learning Specialist, Wealth Management Segments will develop and manage complex learning programs that lead to improved Wealth Management partner performance and service standard alignment.
This role requires deep learning and development expertise and the ability to effectively consult at all levels to build solutions that address strategic priorities and enable growth. The ideal candidate will leverage their working understanding of the wealth management business and financial services industry to rapidly integrate into the organization and proactively approach assignments.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Design, develop, and facilitate exclusive-to-Northern Trust FOS Certification Program, ensuring service standard alignment and partner ability to demonstrate skills required to successfully apply service standards
•Lead design, deployment, and program administration for FOS Continuing Education series, ensuring FOS professionals maintain their certification status
• Scale programming to other Wealth Management segments, enabling a high level of rigor in service standard achievement across organization through intentional skill development
• Lead planning and execution of strategic FOS and related Wealth Management learning solutions
• Consult with senior leaders and Family Office Solutions professionals to ensure deliverables align with business objectives, are embraced by stakeholders, and are scalable and sustainable
• Leverage a sense of commercial urgency to prioritize and effectively address business priorities
• Drive performance validation and impact measurement for assigned portfolio
• Continually assess solutions and processes; recommend changes to ensure sustainability and improve integration with other programs
• Provide comprehensive, in-depth performance consulting and guidance to individuals across organizational levels
• Effectively present complex information and facilitate learning in virtual and in-person forums
Skills/Qualifications:
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry at a national level, particularly wealth management experience
• Deep and detailed expertise in learning program and solutions management, including tools, technologies, and use of learning management systems
• Proven end-to-end learning expertise; includes design, development, delivery, and administration
• 5+ years of direct or indirect sales-related experience
• Proven success managing and executing upon strategically important, high impact talent development programs
• Strong facilitation skills that enable an effective learning environment, and expert consulting and influence skills
• Experience implementing high priority development initiatives that have a clear impact on organizational performance and effectiveness
• Skilled in translating broad strategies into executable, tactical, and scalable plans that yield measurable results
• Experience successfully managing and executing highly visible, strategic programs, and initiatives
• Expert communication skills that translate to all levels of the organization
• History of rapidly and independently forming collaborative, trusting relationships with internal clients and senior business leaders
• Capacity to provide clear and transparent performance improvement feedback that leads to improved business impact
• Strong process management and governance skills; broad knowledge of industry best practices
• Innovative problem-solver with ability to succeed despite time or other resource constraints
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills; relentless attention to detail, high standards and able to consistently produce quality deliverables
• Capable of proactively identifying and addressing organizational needs, despite ambiguity or other challenges
• Broad functional expertise with success leading through influence and collaboration at all levels
• History of consulting with internal clients to identify needs and translate into solutions
• BS/BA or equivalent experience
• Travel to other markets may be required

Salary Range:$108,965 - 185,155 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
