Overview: 

Learning Technologies Administrator (LMS) 
Location: Remote (Preferred Time Zones: PST)
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year depending on experience

In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day administration of our Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) and related technologies. You’ll play a critical part in optimizing system performance, supporting users, and driving forward-thinking solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and engagement.

Responsibilities: 
  • Administer and optimize Blackboard LMS performance and user roles
  • Troubleshoot and implement LTI integrations, upgrades, and branding (HTML/CSS)
  • Provide Tier 2/3 tech support for LMS and learning tools
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers and vendors on new tech rollouts
  • Train and support faculty/staff; maintain process documentation
 
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in IT or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years' experience as a Blackboard Administrator and Instructional Designer
  • 3–5 years supporting technology in a higher education setting
  • Strong expertise in Blackboard configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, streaming video platforms, and educational tech tools
