Manager, Global Mobility & People Relations Full Description

This role owns Renaissance's global mobility and immigration programs at the policy and oversight level, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and positive experience for employees who relocate or work across borders, with day-to-day execution of immigration, tax, and relocation casework delivered by an external partner. It also serves as a People Relations Manager: working closely with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence to provide HR guidance to Renaissance leaders and employees, and, together with HR Operations, acting as a go-to resource for employee questions. The role also leads selected HR programs and process improvements across the function. It is an advisory, hands-on role for someone who builds trust with leaders and employees, uses data to inform people decisions, and can move multiple workstreams forward at once.

  • Track cases, visa and filing deadlines, and program costs so that nothing time-sensitive is missed.
  • Maintain and update mobility and relocation policies as business needs change.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Work with Legal and vendors to keep mobility and immigration activity compliant.
  • Provide regular reporting on program status, cost, and risk to HR leadership.
People Relations & Business Partnership
  • Guide employees and managers on policies, HR practices, and COE topics.
  • Partner with SMEs to keep employee-facing policies current and draft new ones as needed.
  • Meet with employees regarding policy complaints and concerns; escalate as appropriate.
  • Partner with HRBPs and COEs to deliver HR projects, including year-end, talent review, and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist leaders in understanding people data and compliance items.
Program & Project Management
  • Plan and deliver projects from scoping through execution and post-launch review.
  • Maintain documentation, playbooks, and SOPs so key processes are repeatable and not person-dependent.

  • Working knowledge of employment law and employee relations practice, with sound judgment on sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Credibility with senior stakeholders and the ability to coach, challenge, and influence managers.

  • Experience improving and documenting processes, ideally with a systems or automation component.
  • Excellent communication and change-management skills.
  • Comfort with HR and project software, for example UKG and project or collaboration tools.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to run multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Bonus Points:
  • Exposure to tax, finance, compensation or employee benefits programs.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, CIPD, or PMP certification is a plus.
