Job Description
This role is responsible for advancing and sustaining enterprise learning and development programs in support of employee and leader growth based on our values and leadership competencies. Reporting to the Director, Learning, Culture, and Organizational Development, this position is responsible for the planning, development, evaluation, and execution of multiple learning and development initiatives. This position will have a focus on enterprise learning initiatives and contribute to driving cross-enterprise alignment.
  • Leads the design, development, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise learning and development programs that advance employee and leader capability, reinforce organizational values, and support leadership competencies. 
  • Oversees multiple, high-impact enterprise-wide learning initiatives (including Leadership Learning Series, Developing You, CareerFocus, CareerCoach, and Project Management Essentials), ensuring consistency, quality, and measurable business impact. 
  • Drives innovation in learning strategy and program design by incorporating best practices, emerging trends, and modern learning methodologies that support talent attraction, development, and retention. 
  • Establishes and applies program measurement and evaluation strategies (e.g., participation data, feedback, outcomes measures) to assess effectiveness and continuously enhance learning offerings. 
  • Directs the customization and evolution of learning content and materials in response to business strategy changes, organizational priorities, and participant or leader feedback. 
  • Manages learning-related projects end-to-end, including scope, timelines, resources, and delivery, and facilitates learning experiences as needed. 
  • Continuously benchmarks internal programs against industry standards and applies insights to evolve enterprise learning solutions and delivery models.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of facilitators and coordinators, fostering high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement in support of business objectives and our Results, Partnership, and Mission culture. 
  • Develops and implements learning strategies that anticipate future capability needs and strengthen our culture. 
  • Manages relationships with external learning vendors, including proposal review, quality assurance, cost management, and evaluation of program effectiveness. 
  • Oversees operational and people management responsibilities, including workforce planning, goal setting, performance management, staff development, and effective communication within the team. 
  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders and Human Resource Business Partners to assess organizational, team, and leadership development needs and recommend targeted, scalable learning solutions. 
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Five years of experience in Human Resources or related area, including experience in a leadership role required.
  • Five years of significant facilitation, instructional design or related learning & development experience required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, verbal, listening and written communication skills.
  • Thorough business knowledge including market opportunities, industry and competitive forces, organizational capabilities, financial management and operational management.
  • Deep understanding of human performance theories, tools, and practices.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quarterly business results.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders (internal and external) in a team environment and communicate technical information. 
  • Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of unit team.
  • Ability to coach and/or consult with organization leaders at all levels. 
  • Ability to effectively exchange information, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions and employing active listening techniques.
  • Ability to establish workflows, manages multiple projects, and meets necessary deadlines.
  • Ability to select or design/develop and implement learning strategies appropriate for the situation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
