About the Job

The Manager, Learning and Outreach, will support learning transformation initiatives, including advancing AGA’s member learning initiatives, optimizing platform and accessibility standards, and implementing technology-driven solutions that elevate the member learning experience.

What you will do:
  • Serve as the administrative lead in the implementation of AGA’s new learning management system, vendor communications, and member engagement. 
  • Coordinate and administer the development of AGA’s learning management system. 
  • Develop and manage programming and content for member consumption.
  • Evaluate the Advocacy and Outreach team’s learning initiatives, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve learning outcomes, and engagement. 
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, data analysis, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader AGA team to identify and improve content for the AGA Exchange.  
  • Field member and staff inquiries related to the learning platform.

What you will bring:
  • At least three years in learning and development and large-scale learning systems administration. 
  • Associate degree or higher in education, learning and development, outreach, communications or related field. 
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written. 
  • Professional experience engaging external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, design, and implement learning strategies
  • Understanding of adult learning theory
  • Exposure/interest in natural gas/energy is a plus. 
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 15% of the time.

How we operate:
This role is based in Washington, DC where AGA employees currently have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. The employee’s team determines one day each week, and the employee determines the others. 

The Pay and Benefits:
For employees who live in the Washington, DC Metro area, the salary range for this position is $95,710 to $109,384 annually. Candidates are typically hired at a point in their salary range based on prior experience, education, and market demand for the role; employees are also compared internally to their peers.
