The Manager, Nurse Consultants, is responsible for optimizing the performance and impact of the Nurse Consultant (NC) group. This leader fosters a highly collaborative environment where NCs work alongside the manager to deliver outstanding customer support and engagement, organizing and managing NC work through tools and systems that ensure efficiency, transparency, and alignment with strategic priorities. The Manager focuses on strategic deployment, cross-functional collaboration, performance monitoring, and process improvements to ensure the NC team effectively supports organizational goals.
Primary/Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership, Collaboration & Organization
- Foster a collaborative environment with the Nurse Consultant (NC) team to drive customer support and service excellence.
- Utilize organizational tools and systems to manage and organize NC work, ensuring visibility into assignments, timelines, and priorities.
- Guide the team in monitoring performance against KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing strategies for success. Provides input into team evaluations in these initiatives.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development resources to help NCs grow their expertise and impact.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to assess resource needs and contribute insights to workforce planning.
Strategic Deployment & Customer Engagement
- Partner cross-functionally to align NC activities with strategic growth opportunities, implementation initiatives, and post-implementation support.
- Leverage tools to track and organize NC deployment across projects, ensuring effective coverage of client success, retention, and business expansion efforts.
- Establish and refine processes for prioritizing customer needs and deploying resources effectively.
Performance Monitoring, Process Optimization & Work Organization
- Track and assess NC contributions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop and implement tools and methodologies for enhanced tracking, reporting, feedback assessment, and workflow organization.
- Support the successful execution of key projects involving NCs, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with sales, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure Nurse Consultant efforts align with company strategy and objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the NC team, identifying opportunities for increased operational efficiency and innovation.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, promote best practices, and coordinate training sessions to strengthen team capabilities and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Business, Nursing or related field
- 6+ years of experience in a healthcare, consulting, or customer support role, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management position.
- Active RN license preferred
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication & relationship management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in leadership, project management, or healthcare consulting are a plus.

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades, this position is Salary Grade B: $64,000 - $202,600. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
