The Manager, ensures consistent, high quality instructional coverage across schools by leading the deployment, coaching, development, and evaluation of itinerant teachers. This position serves as the primary supervisor for a district wide team of itinerant educators, ensuring strategic staffing decisions, instructional excellence, and alignment with district priorities to support positive student outcomes.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the deployment and assignment of itinerant teachers across schools, making staffing decisions based on student impact, school needs, content expertise, grade level alignment, and anticipated vacancies.
  • Coordinate transitions into and out of assignments, ensuring continuity of instruction and effective communication with school leaders and district partners.
  • Maintain staffing systems, assignment records, deployment calendars, and related data to support operational effectiveness and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with school leaders, Human Resources, Talent Management, and other district partners to anticipate staffing needs and ensure equitable access to instructional support.
  • Conduct regular instructional observations and coaching cycles to improve instructional practice, classroom culture, student engagement, and adaptability across varied school settings.
  • Facilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing professional learning opportunities that strengthen instructional effectiveness and readiness for diverse teaching assignments.
  • Support itinerant teachers in implementing district curriculum and instructional expectations while adapting to new school environments and student populations.
  • Lead collaborative learning structures and calibration efforts to ensure consistent instructional practices aligned to district priorities and academic standards.
  • Serve as the primary evaluator for itinerant teachers, conducting performance evaluations, monitoring effectiveness across assignments, and supporting individualized growth plans.
  • Ensure compliance with district evaluation frameworks, documentation requirements, professional standards, and performance management processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     
What You’ll Need:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three (3) years related experience.
  • Two (2) years of of management responsibility. 
  • Current Colorado Department of Education Teachers License.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. 
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
