Job Description
Opportunity at a Glance
Adtalem Global Education seeks a dedicated and relationship-focused leader to serve as the Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Foundation Relations. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Impact, this leader will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of signature partnerships, leading corporate foundation relations and driving employee giving and volunteerism programs that advance Adtalem's mission of empowering students to achieve their goals, find success, and make inspiring contributions to our global community. This role requires a partnership management expert who can build and maintain strong relationships, ensure program delivery excellence, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, work effectively with external partners and internal teams, and support the execution of strategic initiatives through effective collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of signature partnerships, ensuring consistent communication and stakeholder satisfaction. 
  • Oversee corporate foundation grant-making activities, managing funding decisions and due diligence processes. 
  • Lead employee giving and volunteerism programs that engage staff in community involvement. 
  • Serve as primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, coordinating program activities. 
  • Ensure partnership agreements deliver on objectives while maintaining quality standards and impact measurement. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership management, foundation relations, or nonprofit development with demonstrated success in relationship building and program coordination. 
  • Experience managing external partnerships and stakeholder relationships, with proven ability to coordinate collaborative initiatives and deliver results. 
  • Experience with grant-making, philanthropic programs, or employee engagement initiatives in corporate or nonprofit environments. 
  • Strong project management and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple partnerships and programs simultaneously. 

Skills
  • Strong understanding of partnership development and management principles, with proven ability to build and foster strategic relationships
  • Demonstrated expertise in foundation relations and grant-making processes, including due diligence and funding evaluation, with ability to navigate corporate and foundation funding landscapes
  • Proven ability to design and manage employee engagement programs, including giving campaigns and volunteerism initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to coordinate between internal teams and external partners while managing multiple relationships and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in partnership performance evaluation and impact assessment, combined with excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder audiences.

Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $72,000 and $128,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
