WHAT YOU'LL DO 

The Market Intelligence and Insights Manager is a critical member of the Marketing team and supports cross-functional key initiatives. The role is an analytical, data-driven individual with a keen ability to translate data into actionable insights, identify and solve marketing-related business problems, and present recommendations to optimize marketing programs. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytics, consumer insight expertise, business acumen, and communication skills. The role will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders, including marketing, product team, sales teams, data analytics, and external partners.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

The position will work hybrid out of our Gilbert, AZ office.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Researches, analyzes, and presents thorough customer and market analyses across brand and products and prepared department dashboards and publishes key marketing KPIs.
  • Leverages qualitative and quantitative data to identify areas of opportunity, validate hypotheses and forms recommendations to guide marketing and general business decisions
  • Synthesizes and presents key findings from in-market tests and shares insights to extended marketing team and other key stakeholders
  • Analyzes and communicates key industry updates to inform marketing and communication of our brands and products
  • Manages and refines customer target definition and segmentation insights to inform marketing and beyond, serves as the voice of the consumer” and helps ensure the broader team remains updated
  • Works with the brand marketing and product teams on brand equity or similar brand health projects
  • Works with all cross-functional teams to help identify, monitor and mine internal and external data to help influence our product marketing and go-to-market strategies across all channels
  • Leads selective research projects, overseeing agencies and research partners as needed
  • Understands and optimizes lead journey from current state with extended team members
  • Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed and must be available for occasional support outside of business hours

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 4 year degree in business, marketing, finance, or another related analytical field
  • 5+ years relevant experience preferably in a D2C brand, in market intelligence, analytics, or strategy
  • Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Data visualization skills and experience presenting complex information in a concise manner
  • Familiarity with market research tools, statistical analysis and CRM functions
  • Recognized analytic and critical thinking skills that can identify business opportunities and solutions to grow the business
  • Capability to manipulate the data into a story and have demonstrated effective executive presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and orientation
  • Strong general marketing skills with a passion for winning the customer
  • Highly analytical with demonstrated business acumen
  • Strong communication skills in verbal and written form
  • Ability to understand high volume of marketing data, build reports, and summarize in a meaningful and actionable format
  • Highly collaborative and proven ability to work successfully on cross functional projects 
  • Team-player with “can do” attitude, highly resourceful and proactive
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
