As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the execution and maintenance of marketing operations processes, systems, and workflows across the Performance Marketing & Operations team. You will assist with operational requests, data updates, platform maintenance, and administrative support activities within tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Jeto, Campaigner, Asana, and Google Workspace. This role will work closely with members of the Marketing Operations team to support day-to-day operational tasks, maintain data accuracy and consistency, assist with documentation updates, and support ongoing process improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong technical aptitude and an interest in learning marketing operations systems and processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support platform maintenance and data integrity activities across marketing systems including:
- Updating forms, templates, emails, and other operational assets within Marketo and related systems.
- Assisting with list imports, data updates, and routine maintenance activities.
- Assisting with data cleanup and consistency updates in Marketo and Salesforce.
- Support operational request intake and workflow coordination activities including:
- Completing operational and standalone requests according to established workflows and procedures.
- Helping manage requests submitted through the Marketing Ops Help Request queue.
- Updating task statuses and communicating progress updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation, editing, and maintenance of Jeto launchers and related documentation by:
- Updating launcher fields.
- Creating, maintaining, and versioning Jeto launchers.
- Testing and ensuring quality assurance for new or updated Jeto launchers.
- Support process documentation and team resources by:
- Updating existing documentation, process guides, and training materials.
- Maintaining shared operational resources and reference materials.
- Assisting with process organization and documentation updates as workflows evolve.
- Support campaign operations and backup campaign execution activities including:
- Assisting with the setup and maintenance of campaign assets within Marketo and related systems as needed.
- Assisting with campaign-related updates, scheduling, and deployment activities as needed.
- Providing backup support for operational campaigns during team absences or high-volume periods.
- Support project coordination and Asana workflow management activities including:
- Creating, updating, and maintaining tasks, timelines, and project information in Asana.
- Assisting with large-scale Asana maintenance efforts such as template updates, project clean-up initiatives, and archiving.
- Supporting Asana administration activities including updating fields, assisting with workflow rules, and performing quality assurance checks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Comfortable working within established processes and workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Technical aptitude and interest in systems, operations, and process-oriented work.
- Experience with Google Workspace including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Internship or full-time professional experience in marketing, operations, administration, or related fields preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing automation or CRM platforms such as Marketo or Salesforce preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana preferred.
- Experience working with data entry, spreadsheets, or operational systems preferred.
- Willingness to learn to maximize efficiency and keep up with emerging technologies that impact higher education.
- Willingness to take calculated risks and learn from outcomes in the pursuit of continuous improvement and process innovation.
- Strong interest in the intersection of marketing, technology, and education, with a desire to stay current on trends shaping the future of work and learning.
Salary: This is an entry level role and the salary is $42,000/year.
Exemption status: Non-exempt
Physical Requirements:
Requires periods of close concentration. The employee must be able to multitask, must be able to sit for long periods, must be able to concentrate in a noisy/busy environment.
The position is also eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations: Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
