BetterLesson is a fully remote company made up of more than 60 passionate, creative, innovative professionals and hundreds of educators providing coaching and professional development workshops throughout the country.
Our small and mighty marketing team is working to help state-, district-, and school-level education leaders find, learn about, and choose to work with BetterLesson.
As the Marketing Associate at BetterLesson, you’ll get to be part of a variety of the marketing team’s projects and strategies.
We’re pursuing big goals this year and we need you to help us do even more in marketing and drive even better outcomes as we go.
This will include a focus on the following core functions:
- Serve as creative production manager: Project manage a variety of key creative projects that the marketing team executes repeatedly throughout the year, including: conferences, email campaigns, branded swag creation, and the production of key creative assets like whitepapers and case studies.
- Provide events management support: Work closely with the marketing team and across teams to support planning and production of in-person and virtual events such as conferences, workshops, webinars, and dinners or cocktail receptions.
- Draft email copy to support campaigns and nurtures: Draft the subject lines and message copy for campaign and sequenced emails, including our monthly newsletter and lead nurtures.
- Produce sales-enablement assets: Be a resource to our go-to-market team, working with our design team or on your own to create or update the online and static creative assets that help our sales, strategic partnerships, and customer experience teams help us grow.
- Maintain and improve our website and landing pages: Be adept at working in Wordpress and HubSpot to update – and even identify ways to improve – our website pages and landing pages in line with our projects, campaigns, positioning, and product updates.
- Maximize visibility of marketing content: Support content syndication efforts, turning long content into bite-sized pieces across multiple channels and media types including social graphics, short videos, and more.
- Own key cross-team communications: Keep the internal marketing site updated and easy to use, triage marketing requests from across teams, support individual and team-level communications.
- Implement our social media presence: With strategic guidance from the marketing team, draft and publish content to our various social media channels. Notice what’s gaining traction within our audience to help us continue to learn how to attract and engage the people we’re focused on reaching.
